Vst Issues [dblue Glitch not showing up?]

I downloaded dblue glitch recently and took all the necessary steps, i.e.

  1. unzipping it
  2. copying the .dll to my specified VST folder
  3. double checked in renoise that it was scanning this folder, it is and it sees the VST
  4. however, when I look at the VST instrument list under VST Instruments, it says “none” (glitch is the only vst in that folder), or only shows my other VSTs and not Glitch (when i put it in a folder with other VSTs).

now, i’ve tried many things to try to get this to work, including uninstalling Renoise (I have a registered copy), redownloading dblue glitch, and a few other small stupid things like putting the entire Glitch folder in my VST folder.

It seems to be a problem with the Glitch VST itself because it loads the Fruity Loops VSTi just fine. : /

I’m running Vista 64bit.

any ideas?

It’s an effect. Try adding it as a track dsp.

Glitch also disables itself for users that are likely to abuse it.

shouldn’t be a problem, played with it last night and a little today and only got a few things i liked
