Vst's Are Disabled

Problem: I started renoise and i got a message box that told me that Renoise had crashed during last attemp to start (which I can’t even remeber happening). Only this time it started properly, except that vst’s where now disabled. I tried to restart Renoise a couple of times, but it didn’t help.

In Config -> Misc/VST the vst folders are marked as disabled and the browse buttons are inactive/unavailable. When I click “rescan” it finds no vst’s, of course.

What happened, and how can I fix this??

hmm looks like some weird stuff…

try this:

if you are under Windows, there is a config.xml under your Windows’ “Application Data” folder, which should contain something like this:

try removing what’s into the value="…" part and restart ReNoise
