Not really. The meter display has no relationship with the numbers on the left. No idea why. I just ignore them. You can somehow “get a feel” for the peak levels by using the top meter but that’s about it I’m afraid.

That’s also my feeling. So I will disable the level meter if it’s not useful
Yes. The meters show -24 or -48 or -96dB to !0dB!, but the fader uses a -24 or -48 or -96dB to !3dB! range.
The meters are too small to be useful for reading out exact dB values, but we’ll nevertheless change them to use the fader’s range (3dB) to avoid extra confusion.
