yeah, i know wasapi is not a magic thing that will solve all my problems… i just dont see why every daw gives me like 4 or 5 options of audio device (wasapi included) and renoise gives me 2 (asio and directsound) 
would welcome wasapi if only for the fact it makes sampling from other audio applications (or web browser or whatever…) a breeze
I recently compared REAPER Wasapi with Reaper Asio4All and Wasapi is really better performancewise.
Is Wasapi a thing? I’d prefer it compared to ASIO.
ASIO4all isn’t really ASIO though.
