Very cool. I’ve got it imported and will give it a whirl ![]()
Thanks for sharing!
I forgot to add a check if the values for A,B,C have changed.
I just hope that turning the “formula device” off and on reloads the script and use new values.
Modify the output as you wish. return s.xout returns only the x coordinate, etc.
seems to reload fine with on/off
I think it would be cool to have a utility for creating your own waves that would convert into a script for the formula controller. The utility itself would be something similar to what is in the electron devices
could someone walk me through how to load these xrnt things, esp @slujr 'd 3 LFO WAVETABLE, or provide an xrni example so could have a see what’s going on
Choose track you want this chain to be in and then do it either way you want:
- Drag & Drop is easiest way
- LMB double click
.xrntfrom the Renoise file browser - RMB → Device chain → Load
erm, yes… thanks. i did manage to load it (just by double-clicking on the file in macOS Finder, and renoise opens up showing it on the track). but then what?
Then change the lfo waveforms to whatever shapes you want, dial in the proper rate, point the dest> hydra to the parameter (s) you want modulated by the morphing lfo Wavetable, and either automate the morph hydra via another lfo, or tie it to a macro and record automation via the instrument macros device as usual
