hi crew recently a i came across with the term Neo Trance…in one of the latest Porter Robinson Releases…

what is Neotrance …by the comments in the video …a lot of people…were saying that the song has similarities with the soundtrack of the game Dance Dance Revolution

i would like to know a bit more of the genre and please drop any significant artists …that i should listen to

It is a hybrid version of Euro-Trance [The 1st sub-genre of Trance music]
Differences : 2/4 instead of 4/4 for all the bars, changing rhythm elements and use idm stuff, concentrating on Lead instrument instead of Chords in regular Trance …etc
Actually, it counts like IDM with trancey elements .

I dont like this neo trance thing.
I listen to Cosmic Gate [Find their old album Wake Your Mind] Ferry Corsten released Blueprint, which is so good and easy to listen, Robert Nickson is my fav since 2006…etc
