A friend just sent me the link to their bandcamp site this afternoon. And wow, I couldn’t resist to get the whole album.
The history of this music from the 70ies that’s written on the bandcamp site makes it even more interesting… But who knows it’s fact or fiction ?

My new favourite chip/prog/synth/metal/orchestral/whatev
Something that I used to listen to a long time ago and only recently rediscovered :-
Pete Namlook - silence I listen to this when I’m flying ( I suffer from panic/anxiety attacks , which get triggered when flying or having feelings of being trapped or out of my control and this album has some kind of healing powers for me )
Heavy, heavy, good, good. Music needs more throat whistle vocals like Pattons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tt9QEXuuEL4
I’ve been checking out the music of Jlin
There are some interesting sounds and rhythms going on there.
TBH it tends to strike me as a bit samey-samey after a while; I’m not hearing much musical development in the tracks, which could each be a bit shorter.
But it might be that I’m not quite picking up on some subtleties.
In any event there are some nice ideas at play.
The sound of nostalgia
Wide Eyes - Terraforming
Wide Eyes - First Contact
Animals as Leaders - The Madness of Many
Earth - Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light 1
Earth - Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light 2
Earth - The Bees made honey in the lion’s skull
Noisia - Outer Edges Remixes
Various Grime Artists (mostly scottish atm, because it is the most gimmickless and Dot Rotten’s Diss Tracks vs. P Money )
But now at the moment I’m listening to https://soundcloud.com/barenoize/bare-noize-spirit
George Hurd, another composer I like
Dj Raphael and Scientific monkey’s radio shows on mixcloud.
