Why is cross fading loops so inconsistent in Renoise?

My question is in the title. Here are pictures if you don’t know what I’m talking about:

Before cross-fading loop:

After cross-fading loop:

I understand why the volume is lower in the middle. The tail is being faded out while the first part is introduced and faded in to create a loop. But I don’t get why Renoise can’t be more consistent with the fade-in/fade-out crossfading to create a more static sound? Is it really that hard? I like this feature and on some samples it works wonder but static sounds like this just sound like shit if you play them, the volume drop is very annoying!
