Can people please post what they use and have no problems with. Or have problems with. I use a roland a500s controller with usb midi and one midi out to seq my analogs via midi. I get about 5 ms of jitter drift on this. For dance music this is a no go. I need 1 to 2 ms of jitter max, like i got on the mac with an amt8 and usb, yes usb on the mac doesn’t suck ass like it does on windows.
I wont go mac because i use a lot of plugins that are PC only.
I ordered a audiophile 2496 for its midi because i read on a cubase forum that it was tight.
I hope i don’t have troubles running two audio cards using one for the sound, and the 2496 just for midi.
