Would be cool if we could have many reports here in the Renoise community re: how well Renoise with plugins etc work with “7”.
I’ll check it out. My friend has gotten Windows 7 I’ll try Renoise there the next time we’re gonna do some music.
I’m currently running W7 as main system, replacing Vista. Runs very well on my Lenovo X200. No Problems with renoise or any music software so far, also all plugins I tried are working. It feels as my NI-AK1 even runs more smoothly than on vista.
The only thing i haven’t gotten to work is the fingerprint sensor on my laptop, but I haven’t tried very hard.
I just had to install ~3-4 additional drivers, everything else was installed directly or downloaded via windows update.
I can’t say anything on overall system performance, because I haven’t pushed the PC to the limits or made benchmarks or anything, but in my opinion everything runs very smooth, I also like the new UI very much!
As security measure in case something goes wrong after all, I’m doing backups of the whole pc to be able to restore it without a lot of hassle.

Actually, I’ve already have windows 7 but i’ve not recently installed yet.
