I have just updated to 3.5 and when I open one of my projects which uses Korg Legacy cell vst it says it can’t be found.
If I switch back to 3.4.4 Renoise it works just fine.
Funny thing is the other vsts that came with Korg (Ms-20, Wavestation and Polysix ) all work fine. Maybe because Legacy Cell is like a wrapper for the other Korg vsts. Nothing else seems to be affected. Any ideas?
Anything to do with it being 32 bit maybe.
4 posts were split to a new topic: Linux: Some plugins fail to load with latest glibc updates
I should have maybe put that I was on Win 10
I vaguely remember that some of the Korg plugins have problem with the way Renoise plugin sandboxing.
Renoise 3.5 now by default scans plugins in sandboxes (separate processes) to avoid that broken plugins crash down Renoise while Renoise is looking for new plugins.
Please try if, temporarily, disabling the sandbox options, then rescanning for plugins reveals that plugin.
See Preferences - Renoise User Manual
→ Plugin Sandboxing
I tried that option. No change though.
As this is the only vst causing a problem I’m not going to worry too much.
Everything else is stable and after all it’s a 10 year old 32 bit vst so I know it’s not going to last forever. At some point I imagine even Renoise will stop 32 bit support anyway.
