DJeroek Sorry, your right it wasn’t the Midi that was being scanned it was the audio input output causing the screen to hesitate or freeze, But tatik’s solution worked for me.
I Hope Renoise can come up with a fix for this issue.
Renoise simply picks up the changes that Windows sends us. Apart from ignoring unwanted changes, there’s not much we can do about it.
