Hello
I’m doing a wallpaper for the wallpaper section, doing that in 3D.
First I vectorized the png from the webpage.
Png’s are allright but not when you want to poke on the logo in 3D the png format falls short. Ive attached some cross aplication friendly formats of the logo in 3D as it came out raw.
I have not yet decided what kind of direction the composition/layout shoudl take - But I can tell you this much, I like rust, decay and pipes, lots of pipes - So that leads me in the direction of a somewhat industrial concept.
Here are 2 quick renders of the raw unedited logo.
This is just a test render anyway. Keep your pants on, and wait for the final render.
In other news, I thought I can do this aswell! I will try to do something in different direction. No pipes and rust, but something clean and glossy maybe?
Suva : sounds good, looking forward to what you are able to make.
I dont want to make a clean/bright/steril concept however.
Later today I will post again when Ive positioned the logo in a composition and added the first mesh details. I will model it completly first before adding textures/shaders/light rigs.
Thanks for the dxf. When I get back to work I suspect our cnc-user will have to make a wooden Renoise-board which I will get stained at our surface finishing-department
Ok so we passed the newyears eve well, and I managed to get the first go on the scene composition today.
Nothing is locked atm, the dof is just for giggles, I will find the final main composition next and then start detail the scene out with mesh.
alright, so I played abit with the composition and some initial basic detailing.
I picture the logo comming out of a tunnel in the middle, lots of pipes and details submerge from there. The logo could be straped onto a carry device - this is not settled.
