Automating effects chain on a sample

I was wondering if there was a way to automate an effects chain on a per sample basis.

I have a drum kit I slapped together with samples, each having their own effects chain.

Is there a way of automating those effects without moving the sample to its own track and automating if from there?

You can map effect sliders inside the instrument to macro knobs. Then use a instr.macros device in a track, and automate it there. We only have 8 macros though.

I think i should be able to live with 8 automations haha
