What I did notice in a lot of songs is that a lot of people still use constant speed change (f002/f004) to get the ‘groovy’ effect instead of the groove settings in the properties menu…

I also noticed some people haven’t found the NNA’s yet and keep doubling up their tracks to get overlapping notes… or am I missing something here?

Also agree with mostly all comments and criticsm to my song. Guess I have still have many to improve so far
But one thing is strange to me: The leadsynth (mean that brassdust thing) in my tune “Beathouse” came a bit offpitch. Doesn´t anybody noticed that ?

I think to be able to cut the notes seperately… If note 1 has to stop after note 2 but note 2 has to go on after that…

i really think the solution is to drop the rankings entirely, and just give comments to one another. even though they all said completely different things, i enjoyed reading 31 different opinions of my track. i know some people would drop out if they didn’t have the chances to see their name next to a “1st” label, but i like to think most wouldn’t…

This sounds good to me. I enjoyed the feedback very much.

New Note Action. the default is ‘cut’, which means if you interrupt a note with another on the same track, it will just cut off the previous ones. if you set it to ‘note off’, the first note will do the ‘note off’ command at the same time as the next one plays. sounds a lot smoother. i’m surprised you haven’t seen it done in RNSs before.

I am new to Renoise and “tracker like programs” my first attemp was to use it with midi but there’s a lot of great things to do with samples and edition inside Renoise. I am in the “discovering” process. All I can say by now is that Renoise is the best program i’ve worked with (and have tested a lot of “midi” programs)
