Caps Lock Needs To Be Pressed Twice

Hey renoise peeps, just a quick question for you.

I just got a new computer and the behaviour of CAPS LOCK is different. It used to be when I was using renoise I only had to press CAPS LOCK once to enter note off but now I have to press it twice. its kinda annoying, is there any way to stop this?

any help always much appreciated

You can change this key-binding

Preferences >> Keys >> Global >> Transport >> Smart Note Off

what Bantai said. after reading that entire thread i switched my note-off key to the ‘A’-key, which was unused. you might consider this too, if you’re not to used to your CapsLock.

my default is “1”. buzz-a-like.

Nice. switched to ‘a’ as well, much better.
