Yes! Plus the ability to let Hydra control parameters of other tracks. That would rock.

Something to use instead of muting and unmuting tracks the usual way…

It’s a Hydra, a Gainer and any effect. Assign a Midi slider to the Hydra input. The Hydra then controls the gain (using the steepest slope). It also controls the dry/wet mix of the effect using a shallow slope.

As a result:

When the slider is at 0%, the track is muted
When the slider is at 25%, the track is unmuted with a slight effect
When the slider is at 100%, the track is unmuted with an extreme effect

The effect isn’t really the point, it’s more the use of the gainer to mute a track temporarily.

That’s pretty funny. Can’t believe how long you have known each other. Why didn’t you guys try to use the delay device to make a comb filter? I didn’t get that part.

[p.s. edit: now doofer up some comb filters to make a cheesy reverb, too bad no wet/dry slider…]
