No, you use those who “question if CoV19 is even real” to not question anything. A pandemic requires an unblinking attention to all of it, not hand waving and peer pressure. That’s the opposite of “better safe and sorry”, it’s mass hysteria that replaces individuals making coherent arguments. I have been taking ALLLL the precautions, I’m even sending food to an elderly lady across Germany I know just so she has to go out less. And I’m not negatively affected by any of this, except the obedience and willful ignorance displayed everywhere, which annoys me even at best of times, how could it not in a context like this.

And I summed it up right there even: the pandemic will be recovered from, the potential destruction of democracy and climate change, which are going on anyway, and have been going on for ages, not so much. That is also real, and so are the moves to use CoV19 to speed it up, at least in the US, without being beneficial against the pandemic. Blanket suspending enforcement of the EPA is not even a stupid decision, it’s an excuse.
And it’s fucking criminal to talk about your shopping to sweep something like that under the rug. If you don’t want to watch something, that is fine, if you want to lump it in with “conspiracy videos”, that is fucking not. Well I guess I am lucky in that way. And even that elderly woman I mentioned complains about the same thing, but talk about her cats and all sorts of things. She only looks at animal stuff on social media – but tells me how her friends watch TV all day and talk about nothing but the virus ^^

In Norway they just released an app to get more control over how and where the virus spreads. This app follows your every move and it sends you a sms if you have been within 2 meters of an infected person over a certain time frame. Not sure what to think about it.

Meanwhile, he’s looking at Fox News every morning to figure out what to say. It’s his source of news and information. And then you get the intelligent guys like Mike Pompeo who says, “God sent Trump to earth to save Israel from Iran.” That’s the sensible guy. It’s some ironic joke being played. Let’s say there is a God, maybe. If so, He decided that He made a bad mistake on the sixth day and he’s now going to end it with humor. Just watch these people destroy themselves. That’s what it looks like.

I think a valid argument is this: Why can’t just the vulnerable people stay home? Why people which barely have any risk by corona need to stay home? At least a valid argument is that this is against the constitution. Changing now the constitution is not the right way. It was designed carefully for very good reasons, after hell. I am not a corona denier, but I kind of hate this overaged society (Germany) with their bigoted, egocentric arguments and the German media forced into line. The massive loss of jobs won’t help and the global warming disaster didn’t go away just because of corona panic.
