I mean the main melody is a direct lift from that Rihanna track āPlease Dont Stop The Musicā or whatever its called. I canāt stand AI videos/art and honestly, Iām not convinced the music isnt AI either as a result of the video. Something to consider.
Hi, thanks for listening to my song. Iām really happy to talk about music and answer questions and curiosities. as you can see, in fact, I have not responded to the provocations and poisons of people who have no content, and spit poison for no reason. but letās get to the song, flap of Wings was written by a well-known Sicilian conductor and closing the trilogy of trance songs released for Gothic records limited. the three videos were created with a mix of 3D/ai/photo editor, and assembled with Sony Vegas. unfortunately, there are no big budgets for making videos and I preferred to animate it rather than put a static image in the center (you may like it or not, no problem).
Yes , I use trackerās from 90ā, my first is MED on Amiga ( sorry for my bad English). Usually I use Renoise and vst and hardware . For the exclamation āhitā, the first print of vinyl is sold out in preorder and the previous songs are on top 100 of most downloaded trance song .
Why shoudnāt he be able to create that kind of music by using a tracker? Isnāt a tracker like Renoise the very best for creating electronic dance music of any kind? What makes you guys think that it could be AI generated music, do you really hear anything special thatās ātoo complicatedā for being created by a human? Isnāt this song a typical Trance song like many others? What about popular artists who are also using Renoise like for example Mitch Murder, do you assume itās AI generated music, too, just because itās well composed and produced (which is not the case in case of AI generated music)? Everybody could produce that kind of stuff in Renoise. Itās not the fault of good producers that there are also ābadā producers that are using the same gear, right?
I saw that you released some vinyl on discogs, I just donāt like your music.
However, you should still try to make something yourself without the use of AI.
People used to put a lot of effort into music videos (Oribital, Afx, Talking Heads, Etc,) and now when people use AI for album covers or videos and stuff, nobody takes it seriously because it lacks humanity and completely takes the listeners focus away from your music and onto the video.
Imagine if this song had an AI video, nobody would give them the time of day.
But if you want people to focus only on the music, a static image would likely be better for that.
I am simply asking out of mild curiosity, which is certainly a bit amusing, but I also feel that if it clears up some vague doubts that others may be feeling as well, then itās not such a bad thing.
Sorry if I have offended anyone.
I see. I think I am beginning to read the situation a little better.
The song Andrea Chiglien e Piero Zeta feat. Linares - FLAP OF WINGS is a song that you made with a non-Renoise 90ās tracker (which tracker what is it?). You have made a vinyl record with that song, and the first edition was sold out at the pre-order stage?
Since I do not speak English either, I am conversing through a translation service.
If you translate simple expressions in your native language into English using deepl or other translation services, you may be able to communicate more smoothly.
What can I refer to to verify that these above are true?
No, I just felt that from my point of view, that simple, ānot too complicatedā expression, like that trance dance music template, was AI-like. However, I donāt think it is desirable to make such assumptions, which is why I asked the question about the question I felt. Isnāt that what dialogue is all about?
And the answers seem to be gradually becoming clearer now.
Any kind of video or cover art has nothing to do with the music, whether itās AI generated or made by human. I can only speak for myself, but personally I give a shit about videos and cover art. Itās about the music only, everything else is an accessory, which is irrelevant when it comes to the music, especially in case of electronic dance music. Yes, there are some āhistoricalā famous cover arts, but on one hand it didnāt improve the music at all and on the other hand no one is thinking about cover arts or videos while listening or even dancing to music, right?
He wrote that he started creating music in the 90s by using OctaMED on Amiga, whereas the current songs were created in Renoise, and heās using VSTs and hardware, too.
Iām also generally interested in seeing some global download charts regardless of the genre. Andrea must be referring to other charts than these charts: Beatport Top 100 Trance charts Juno Trance charts
Oh, thatās right. I guess I wasnāt reading the context. Thanks for letting me know.
I havenāt figured out Q3 and Q4 yet,
But, hmmm, well, I kind of get it.
A lot of people probably needed your music.
I donāt care if it was similar to others.
I just thought it was interesting that it was manually created by a human being.
truth be told, i wanna hear this track now because thereās so much of this āoh it must not have been created by a human beingā pushback.
iām not expecting to be blown away or anything, i have a firm notion of what standard trance will sound like, but this whole backānāforth just makes me curious.
To be fair, my main observation was that the awful AI video could lead to people doubting the authenticity of the music itself - a worry that was reinforced for me by the similarity of the main riff being so close to a Rihanna song I am aware of - happy to be proven wrong however. Nothing about the music suggests it is beyond human ability, more so that it felt like an amalgam of a lot of other ideas and could pass for AI generated. As I say, happy to be wrong.
@AndreaChiglien Thanks to your answers to my questions, I now enjoy your song Andrea Chiglien e Piero Zeta feat. Linares - FLAP OF WINGS (Official Video) Gothic LTD records more, including the video.
