Here you can find a list of over 500 donation and free VST Effect Plugins.
The list is not completed at the moment. Later there you will find the plugs, which have to be sold, and some of the free, which I didn’t have added to the list yet.
Momentary it is only a html list. Later there will be some options to set for instance the compatibility status of a plug.

The excellent Shortcircuit VSTi sampler just became freeware. This really made my day and I thought I would share 
Why would you want to run a sampler inside of a tracker? For starters, Shortcircuit has a 12-vector modulation matrix that includes 2 EGs and 3 step-LFOs with smoothing. Among modulation destinations are Loop Start, Loop Length, EG parameters, and LFO speed. That gives you some synth-like sample mangling options that you would normally have to build in PD, Max/MSP, or Reaktor.
