The only one I know of is Nibbles
Btw, just a reminder that you can control your paddle with the arrow keys, slider, or a mapped MIDI control; whichever feels best for you. Also, adjusting the Paddle Speed setting can limit the AI’s movement speed and make it easier to score against them, too. thanks for playing!

Looking cool! Haven’t played it yet, but am getting game of life vibes with the dots flying around  . Any chance of using this engine generating cellular automaticas for triggering musical stuff in Renoise?

I have thought about making a game that would affect aspects of the current project file (automating parameters, adding/changing notes, etc), but I personally have other projects on my to-do list that are higher priorities. If I were to do something along these lines though, I would probably go more in a direction similar to Electroplankton. I do hope my tools can draw more users to Renoise. Whether they’re games, composition tools (@Raul has that covered more than I ever could though :joy:), or a mix of both (as you describe).

I’m still using Electroplankton on my DS

by the way,
a good idea with a game background.
I’ve been looking for something for a long time that I could draw simple graphics for.

Heck yeah :sunglasses: WarioWare D.I.Y. is the bomb too! If you’ve never tried it, you definitely should!

Hi there, fellow “made a pong in a daw” person!

Your FX looks so much better! :face_holding_back_tears:

Wow! Probably not too many others in the world who have done the same (if any) what are the chances you’d find my tool? Haha :joy:
What DAW is that by the way? :open_mouth:

It’s not a huge club for sure haha!

I do know about one for the MPC. There is a VST as well, although that is kind of cheating :stuck_out_tongue:

Mine is running inside VCV Rack.

Woah, I like that MPC one too! I like the hardware theme yours has, with all the IO for different stuff! There’s clearly more than just controlling P1 and P2, right? Does it input/output notes/modulation?

It sends out triggers for all the different events like hitting a player or bouncing off the top wall etc. It also outputs fine values associated with these events. For example if player 2 hit the ball, this secondary output will be higher or lower depending on where exactly the ball touched the player.

Ahhhhh, so it’s actually a sequencer of sorts! Very cool man  I may have to download and check it out soon!

I love mini-games like this that you can play to pass the time and have some fun. It’s great to hear that the update brings in triggers for different events, like hitting a player or bouncing off the top wall. And the fact that it provides fine values associated with these events adds a whole new level of depth to the gameplay.
Personally, I sometimes find myself missing the good ol’ days of playing classic games. But these days, my gaming preferences have shifted more towards mobile gaming. It’s just so convenient to have a bunch of fun games right at my fingertips on my phone. I can squeeze in a quick gaming session wherever I am.
Speaking of mobile gaming, I recently came across a post discussing what games pay real money. It’s intriguing to see how gaming has evolved to include such features, giving players the opportunity to earn some cash while having a blast.
