High CPU usage display, but not in task manager

Hello,

Renoise shows a quite high CPU usage in the upper right display when I use some VST plugins. But Win8 task manager is not impressed at all and states much less CPU usage. For example: using a reverb Renoise says 25-30% usage, task manager is only at 4%. What’s the reason for this?
