How to extract music from a from a track

Hello guys, I’m new in music production and still in the learning phase. I want to extract the music and deconstruct the whole song and do my mixing with it. I haven’t found any good method on it. I would be very grateful if you can guide me on this. Thank you for your time.

Enable “Save each track into a separate file” before rendering.

Personally I would recommend to mix internally, as seen in the mixing thread.

Hello, I want to extract music from the existing tracks, not from the tracks made by me.

Not something you could do with Renoise, but you can look for “AI Stems Splitter” online, quality varies though

Hey, if you have Apple music’s premium subscription then it has an option to listen music with lyrics and the vocal track dropped. So, eventually you’ll get Karaoke/music of any song (that is present on Apple music), within few click. All need is just a Apple music subscription. Other ways is do it manually with a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software.

Ultimate Vocal Remover is free and cross-platform. It gets very good results from the few times I’ve used it (I’ve tried Windows and linux versions).

Hey thank you for your reply and suggestion, I just want to tell you that I was able to extract music from a song with help of garageband. I don’t know about the Apple music’s method, but I don’t think so we can download the files in the device. I think music will stay within the app.

Will I be able to download/export the music file from it? Does it split the vocals and music or remove vocals?

It’s a while since I used it, but IIRC you get two audio files - the instrumental and the vocal track.

It may split the instrumental into guitar / bass / drums / keys / etc, too, but I don’t remember.
You can definitely get an acapella out of it, though, and the tweakability is pretty powerful.
