Nice Doom Metal @Cursed. I keep on being impressed by your virtual guitar sound. It sounds convincing enough.

Remixed a classic from 1993:

sampled some vocals from ā€œAbsolute Gigantenā€, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0177507/

Whole track made and mixed with renoise.

Raw/work-in-progress screen recording of a track Iā€™m working on for an upcoming EP. For this release, Iā€™m aiming at different LPB settings (5, 6, 14, etc) and pattern lenghts, for more ā€œbrokenā€ rhythms.

Around 70% of the sound design (including drums) done with Vital, and sometimes Hive. A few drum samples here and there.

Still little to no EQing, until I finish the other tracksā€¦ so donā€™t mind that

Nice jam but let me tell you something.Never ever have liquid stuff on the same table you have your gear because sooner or later an accident will happen.

nice work! Always good times to play with unconventional rhythmic structure. I love how easy it is to create strange subdivisions, polymeters, & polyrhythms in renoise. Phrases are really powerful in this regard

This is the main reason why I chose Renoise over any other DAW. The ease of rhythm manipulation is very powerful.

Exactly what Iā€™m trying to achieve. Iā€™m prone to ā€œminimalismā€

Nice! Can you tell me a bit about how you make these very nice sounding distorted guitars?

Thanks ffx, i mostly use my Ibanez Blazer together with Boss GT-001 guitar processor and native time stretch and some sample editing in post. Time stretch doesnā€™t always sound very convincing, but i think it works pretty good with distorted guitars.
Sometimes i just open ā€˜record new sampleā€™ and jam along to some rythm and maybe a melody, then i cut out parts of the jam that i can use. Iā€™m not the best guitarist, so this is a method that works for me.

That is a sweet little track @untilde.

@antismap The mpc one looks like a lot of fun! A nice bit of old school indeed.

@dspasic Renoise 001 (Demo) is nice. It has an interesting mood. Wonder where youā€™ll take it.

@TheBellows Rock on! That is a cool track. Nicely sharp. If you donā€™t mind me saying. I wish there was a bit more development in the piece. There is a nice variations in the different sections. But when parts repeat they sound identical to me. I always like it when repeating segments offer something new. Doesnā€™t have to be much. It can be an additional layer. A different drum groove. Or take away something. You get the idea. Familiar but a new experience.

@Cursed Our resident Doom Lord returns. It may be old but it is still nice!

There are some nice sounds there. Though Iā€™m not the biggest fan of the modular fares. What kind of Eurorack modules did you use?
