This definitely needs some vocals.Great beat!!
I made this music for my kidsâ instagram-channel. Completely not my style.
That makes my old demoscene-heart just happy.
Its good going out of your comfort zone in music making,it helps in not making the same stuff al the time.I always start with a blank template for that very reason
I always loved the sound design of Serial Experiments Lain. Now that Iâm re-watching it Iâm making an ambient noisy drone track inspired by each episode. To keep myself from binging the series. Anyway here is the first track.
If you see one of these itâs probably just in your head:
It sounds nice and the video looks great. How did you make that video? Looks like something you could do with grease pencil in blender, but that must have been a lot of work?
Thanks TheBellows! I wish I had used blenderâs grease pencil. My approach was a lot less work. I took clips out of the first episode of Serial Experiments Lain, sequenced them till I thought they fitted the music. Then ran it through After Effectsâ Find Edges, Posterize and a Glow effect.Basic stuff but I rather like the look of it.
Made this one recently with the MPC Live II:
My ideal sampler would be some combination of a Polyend Tracker / Renoise and MPC Live in one device.
Sweet track. Early aphex and boc vibes for sure. Percussion feels a little static/safe, and the song could be extended with a breakdown and reformulation, but itâs a lovely vibe youâre crafting here. Good one
Finally some real renoise-content.
I stopped continuing this track, because itâs just a cover. I covered a track from rise.fm (GTA3-radio) by accident.
