I would like to hear your music made with Renoise or other Daws

We’ll that’s the great thing about this thread. It’s underailable… There are a million tangents, but it always comes back to music

Yup! Speaking of music, I definitely need to listen to the score of The Boy And The Heron. There were some parts that stood out to me. Partly because they were familiar themes. But also parts that made me go “oh, this cool! I want to learn from this”. Come to think of it, I should probably just go see it again.

That’s a good thing you’ve made @error.eyes. The music has an interesting mood. It’s dramatic and dark yet also playful. I like how alive this sounds. And the longer melody around a minute in over those drums, I love it! Very 70s prog-rock, and I mean that as a compliment. Very good stuff! I’m on my 5th consecutive listen. My only complaint is that this is nowhere near long enough! Moarrrr please!

Really nice lounge music! Lovely. Only the video title irritates me, doesn’t seem to match the music at all…?

What a beautiful song.

Last thing i did before taking a huge much needed break from my electronic music project.
Nonetheless, I have fired up Renoise again recently and back in the game. More coming soon.

Here is a second excerpt from the track i posted earlier,I’m really trying hard to make a unique sound,i hope it comes across. I’m not sure anymore, heard this same stupid track now so many times its starting to lose all meaning.

That was unexpected. Ambient doesn’t have heavy kicks like that. It’s rather Trance. Please ask the new Renoise staff member @slujr (that was quite surprising :slightly_smiling_face:) about the exact subgenre of his favorite Techno subgenre, I’ve heard he’s even able to distinguish “Swamp Trance” from “Forest Trance”…

Not sure what you mean, but your stuff is always unique. Not only the type of composition, I’m also talking about the sound. Your sound is always clean and tends to be pretty bright, especially your older stuff, which was also quite harsh sound-wise. Your recent stuff is less bright in comparison, but still clean and imho better than your older sound. What type of “unique sound” are you looking for?

Another thing after a thing, things over things, things all the way, and everyTHING sounds cool. I dig it. :+1:

Thank you for the feedback.I meant composition and sound but more so the composition aspect,if you had to put a genre on that track what would you say? Also i agree about the sound i think you are totally right.

You know, I’m oldschool when it comes to naming Techno subgenres, furthermore I’m not familiar with Breakcore and its subgenres. Personally, from an oldschool point of view, I would say it’s “Hardcore Breakbeat”, which is not really an existing genre, right?

Ok wan’t expecting that, ill take it!

@ToybOx Thank you very much. I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying my jams. Much appreciated! :peacock:

@TNT I have no clue about genres. So if you say my most recent jam is more trance than techno I’ll happily take your word for it. And many thanks for listening!

I don’t doubt it.

For sure that comes across. Your stuff is always great! From the sound design, through the mix, all the way down to composition. Top notch stuff. Beyond that, it is really your sound. There is no mistaking it for anyone else’s. At least I don’t know anything that sounds quite like you, and I wish I did cause I could use more of this kind of stuff.

@TNT 's Hardcore breakbeat description seems spot on to me, btw.

Just gonna place my Good Ol’ Baracko here.

(Stinky Wario type beat, into crazy dubstep)

I listen to this like I watch Youtube Poops. It’s a dopamine rush of chaos.

I don’t know. When I was younger we went out dancing. I thought I was dancing wildly, people watching me thought I was standing still.

Outside the frame / inside my hoodie I am bobbing my head though to keep time. But it is hard to see.

Also, I’m more of a panda bear than a brown bear.

@PaDumTek I like this vibe! Those Bulgarian(?) voices work wonders in your track. Lovely stuff. Looking forward to hearing more stuff soon.

@TheBellows That’s another cool one. It feels really messy, but in an interesting way. It reminds me a bit of the early, janky days of visual AIs. Where everything looked real crappy but with a certain charm nonetheless.

@Zhu Welcome back to the fold. I can hear some Wario in this indeed. If you don’t mind me saying, I think the production could be a bit thicker / heavier and more aggressive for the style. And some of the voice samples feel a tad loud. Anyway, it’s a fun little track.
