Awesome work!
It reminds me a bit of early Sebastien Tellierās work (less melancolic) or DJ Mehdiās (RIP) beats in Les Princes de La Ville album, which is awesome in term of production. (I recommend even if you donāt understand french, the beats are just perfect)

Generally, when it sounds good on lower end speakers or car audio, then the mix is probably alright. Also trained ears can compensate for a lack of good acoustics.
