Now in France the times are going harder, and so I made this cover yesterday night (sequenced with Renoise):
@Heptagen I’m digging your Squeaky Water Pump track. It has a nice atmosphere. I know you’re going for quality by quantity at the moment but I agree with stoiximan that it could use some more development. It could become an amazing full length track. But I understand wanting to get more things done very well. Definitely keep on posting 'em here.
@strobotone 26th century breakthrough is a lovely energetic track. That little synth run up at around 1:40 is nice! Good stuff.
@xrxs those Kausto tracks sound nice. I’m a little bit jealous of how big you can make your drum sound. I have this love/hate relationship with detuned sounds. On one hand they really irk me. On the other hand detuning thing can impart so much character. Anyway, fun stuff.
@Fabrice I’m not familiar with the original but your Protect You (Cinderella and the Four Knights) is a sweet little tune. The piano does sound a bit too hot at times, distorting a bit. Is that on purpose? And yes, sadly France is a well of tragic and unpleasant news lately.
Nice swing and tone, well done. Also enjoying the human tones
Not intentional, I certainly made it too quickly. Effectively I hear some weird pitches or little untunes, I’ll check this to see. Maybe too much piano harmonics together sometimes.
Hi, maybe better mix, don’t really know. I should try to do porper panning and use better reverb settings maybe… What do you think?
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Little something I did for a Halloween special for tonight. All RENOISE!
Your link is not working

I think the same. The whole mix sounds like walking through fog, if you know what I mean. For my taste there’s too much reverb in general, what makes it a little bit “muddy”. And maybe you cutted the highs just a little bit too much. Nevertheless there’s not really much to adjust, but these adjustments would lift the whole song if you ask me. And I also would decrease the reverb predelay in terms of the toms. Besides of that it’s a cool retro composition as always. Maybe this time for my taste a little bit “too playful”, there are many different sequences following behind each other. I prefer more structure, but that’s a matter of taste. For sure there are others who would say “good variations”.
A cute and catchy one this time:
Some dark electro stuff from 2006.
Made with Jeskola Buzz and Renoise.
Anyway, your melodies rock , so that may be the right approach for you. ATM I only use Renoise/Redux for drums, usually start with Renoise on Linux and then export the instrument for reuse in Redux in Windows. I want to get back to working more with Renoise again. But the whole rewiring/DAW switch is tiresome for me, so my setup is basically Reaper+Redux+VST(i).
I love happy chiptunes like this to an unbelievable degree, but I’m horrible at making them. If anyone else here makes these, please, I would love to be spammed down with more fun Swedish-sounding chiptune music! And especially if someone has info to share about how to write them. Anything related to this really is a big yes. Great tune, joule! <3
Some house music made with Jeskola Buzz in 2003.
Unfortunately the original bmx file was lost, so i did not have the chance to do a proper mix.
Anyways, have a good one !
Hello to everybody
I finished my first Techno Track with Renoise 3.2
Have a good evening
A desert flavored minimal / system music track with ethnic instruments. Think John Cage in the desert. Short motifs that hook into each other, driving the track forward.
Feedback & opinions always welcome!
Man that change with the drums at 5.40 really caught me of guard. Great track
F@CKING A!!!My cousin will love this and he is also a psytrance composer among other genres but he really loves psytrance
What a piece my friend congrats!!!Coming from Greece we love ethnic instruments .What vst or library did you use for this?
