Last Movie You Saw And Liked

Last films I saw that made impression on me:

Science of Sleep
Shoot 'Em Up

Other than that, I guess my fave film of all time would be TRON. Definitely not for the story or their misuse of computer terms…it’s the way the made a completely alternate way of viewing the world…it’s visual style is unmatched and never will be.

Among 163 DVDs that I own I really dig these:

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring (Kim Ki Duk)
The Legend of 1900 (Giuseppe Tornatore)
Bodas De Sangre (Carlos Saura)
Lost Highway (David Lynch)
A Clockwork Orange (Stanley Kubrick)
The Double Life of Veronique (Krzysztof Kieslowski)
Nostalghia (Andrei Tarkovsky)
Fanny And Alexander (Ingmar Bergman)
House of Fools (Andrei Konchalovsky)
Letters From Iwo Jima (Clint Eastwood)
Apocalypto (Mel Gibson)
Pulp Fiction (Quentin Tarantino)
One Flew Over The Cackoo’s Nest (Milos Forman)
Leaving Las Vegas (Mike Figgis)
Glengarry Glen Ross (James Foley)
Talk To Her (Pedro Almodovar)
Scarface (Brian De Palma)
Babel (Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu)
The Ring (Gore Verbinski)
The Thin Red Line (Terrence Malick)
Underground (Emir Kusturica)

strange stuff. was pretty suprised at the end :)

though, it doesn’t say mutch about the movie itself.

i saw PsychoPorn yesterday! eeh… but didnt like it …

ehm… last ive seen and really liked… ehm…

rambo 4? … ehm… hehe…

  • Assembly
  • Breath (Kim Ki-duk fan!)

no english movie comes to mind although ive seen em all…
ah, i liked ‘30 Days of Night’ and ‘The Mist’ should be nice…

ps. jonas, ive got those subs for you! hehe…

Must admit, that I’m totally out of beeing a movie viewer. Maybe it’s just because, that I simply can’t do anything with those cliché hollywood stories in my brain. I need documetations I guess…

Other than that, the last movie though I really liked, was Butterfly Effect.

Then you should check “nines”. The ending is abit of a downer, but up to it it’s a really cool movie.

actually, THE NINES is a butterfly effect’ish movie.
That is why i liked it.

Dragon Tiger Gate :yeah:

‘Into the Wild’

Cloverfield - my deepest impression for the last time!
Like i was there, in that world for a while. Very realistic movie IMHO.

also Shoot Em Up - makes us laugh a lot

Aqua Teen Hunger Force DA MOVIE, I wow’ed

the Trailer Park Boys film…you need to check out this show/movie if you haven’t seen it

I would say Alien vs Predator 2.
It was just soooo crappy that it was really great fun to watch.
I’m a hardcore SciFi fan and think Terminator 3, Alien 4 are abominations but AVP2 you just can’t take seriously for one second. It’s Brain Dead but instead of zoombies there are Aliens and Predators.
Not sure if it really falls under movies I liked but I at least got my moneys worth in laughter.
Not sure that was the intention of the movie though or if the other people around me appreciated it :D

…what i love about the Alien-series is that somehow they managed to evolve the story to it’s rightful end what Ripley’s character is concerned. I love every Alien movie in it’s own right ^_^

The main issue with Alien4 is that the story is just not “credible” if you can say that about any scifi flick.
It’s just stupid and I think it exploit what have been done in the other three movies instead of progressing the series.

the third alien movie was one of my favourates for a long time. Loads of great pictures and amazing use of light and colours.

glad i could help spread the word :D

sunshine! for some reason, i loved it :D
