Launching Renoise without scanning for plugins

Hi,

Can I launch Renoise without it scanning through my VST folder? It gets stuck and stops responding before it has launched.

Came along an old thread from '06 that said that “next version will take care of this” and I didn’t find anything else.

But no parameter for executable (something like renoise.exe /novstscan) as far as i know.

Hey! Thanks for your reply. My problem is it doesn’t even start up. It’s during launch that it freezes while scanning the plugins so I can’t even get to the settings menu.

The plugin failed during startup should be blacklisted on next startup, so in theory, you simply have to restart Renoise many times, until it loads completely.
