Episode 25 speaking to Gwenifer Raymond, a supreme talent in the American Primitive / Fingerpicking world with two tremendous albums under her belt - the latest of which she recorded entirely on her own at home. We spoke about how she started out with the guitar, playing alongside the American primitve greats and the uncanny valley feeling of streamed live performances.

midierror meets… Episode 26 with Jake McNeill, who’s worked in music for 28 years managing Mauro Picotto for 9 years, as well as Azzido Da Bass, Mauro Piu, York, Mark Spoon, Joy Kitikonti and Da Hool. He later moved into band management working with the hugely successful Scouting For Girls who released numerous hit singles and albums.

They’ve performed their own A/V shows, took part in a documentary with The Netherlands Institue for Sound and Vision and both work on thier own solo projects.

Episode 33 speaking to instrumental Techno producer CJ Bolland! He’s realeased some of the most iconic electronic tracks ever made, including The Prophet, Camargue and Tower Of Naphtali - as well as doing a remix on the Prodigy’s No Good single and many others for the likes of Depeche Mode, Orbital, Moby and New Order.

He made the title track for the 90s clubbing film ‘Human Traffic’ - ‘It Aint Gonna Be Me’ with one of his greatest dancefloor tracks on the B-Side: Desolate 1. His track ‘Sugar Is Sweeter’ got the remix treatment from Armand Van Helden and became a worldwide dancefloor hit.

We discuss his early influences, his musical journey and the people, studios and stories which formed his incredible and influential sound.
