Mutant Breaks Compo

I mean a complete fail compared to when it’s played faster.

The fail is more about how I didn’t speed it up.

anyway, thanks a lot.

Yeah, I got too caught up with the idea of being chased by mutants.

Why did you change your forum name?

unify things a bit. nm

Oh stop it JBL… it’s epic both ways… I just had to see what would happen when I sped it up :P

Update.

My “CELEBERITY JUDGES” will give me their top 3. I will also pick my top 3. From that pile of top 3 there should be a correlation. The winner will be the track that appears on the most top 3 lists.

Here’s the list of judges who have agreed to judge, no guarantee that they will actually deliver, but they said they would, so I can bug them until they do, I guess, overuse of the oxford comma, here.

  • Paul Charpentier, runs a local radio show called Mutations
  • Pon Chalice, a MTLDNB hero of the scene, Paul’s “right hand man?”
  • Bodkin Van Horn, worked at Ninja Tune until the fall of 2007, now spends his time training dogs and studying anarchist theory.
  • 1-Speed Bike, also known as the side project of the drummer from Godspeed You Black Emperor.
  • Blake Market, currently the only active member of Trotch, my favourite producer, ever.
  • Vorpal, has releases on Cock Rock Disco, a bunch of other labels, an awesome guy.
  • Johnny Dark, was involved with the first couple of Junior Boys releases, is now in Stereo Image.

I’ll try to get more judges if I can. Good times!

Woa! nice list!

Just listened to Black/Blake Market, very good indeed… it’s much more than dnb

and I heard Vorpal on the cock rock disco free compilation.

Your judge list is impressing…

that some rawkin update !

My OGG version points now to a remastered version of my song. Get it here: click

Found a home for it on a CDR compilation, so i have reworked it.

OMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZOMGZ

Did I mention that my master chain sucks? :panic:

my track’s almost finished now!

I really like Foo?'s entry for its intensity and JBL’s for its diversity,
they’re “the winners” in my book

I’m still waiting on the judges. I have about 1/3 of the results in. I will harass the other judges on the weekend. I will post them all at once and pick the winner then.

brilliant!

I can’t wait for the results!

thx! :D

Six of the eight judges have submitted their top 3:

Still waiting on two more! According to the laws of mathematics JBL is the winner (correlation of a track from each top 3, positions don’t matter, appearing in a top 3 does), but you never know! (no we do, JBL is the winner, but I won’t officially announce it until I get the other two judges up on that page)

Cheers.

Im in a top 3 :D:D:D

Congrats! your track has a nice chill start but I find the breakcore part a bit too random and too much low passed… and the extra amen hits doesn’t quite fit.

There’s room for improvement and I know this song could be improved with not too many changes…

We are looking forward to hear your new stuff.
