I use windows and i want a native synth because
1 I can post XRNI with synths that anybody can use
2 I would my Renoise machine exclusively to Linux

linux would rock if my novation nocturn controller would work in linux,but cant get it to respond,so still have to use win xp for finishing tracks,but if i could get it to work,i would ditch win for good

yes, as a matter of fact I’ve heard Renoise will be completely ‘rewritten’ in synthedit as well.
No, it will be rewritten in LISP.
