Eyyo, I often use a filter-vst on a beat or bass track and automate its cutoff according to the hit/note placement in the pattern editor. Nice one. I can say that it works in Renoise v2.8 as well or at least the conversion renoise said it did works

There’s something still annoying me about the automation editor… It’s impossible to start from the beginning of a line as it has to transition from the previous line, that’s just not right, it should be able to cope with two dots per line, a beginning and an end point. EDIT: Holy crap! Maybe I should have tried to turn off SNAP! I’m just not curious enough anymore. The automation editor has indeed improved a lot since I last digged into it long time ago
