When the song is done, i’m often go through some patterns and add variations. It would be great, when we could create(or it creates automatically) an icon for patterns similar like in sunvox. So we can betterdifferentiate betweensimilar patterns on the same track.
Btw. note offs are not rendered inside the pattern block, but it should.
Oh thanks, didn’t know this. Its off by default, right?
I believe it is, yes. Not sure what I would think of it being enabled by default, because that little infinity symbol and the color shading does not convey much information_until you actually know what it stands for._ For this reason, Ithink it’s better that people discover the feature by themselves.
Slightly related, perhaps: joule made a script that can alias identical slots in the matrix.
The whole pattern matrix needs to be reworked to allow different pattern lengths and pattern numbers per track…right now it’s just annoying to use. There also needs to be some type of pattern pool to view and edit patterns without having to put them into the arranger sequence.
I’m aware of pattern aliases, but a much easier and user friendly solution would be to just allow every track to have it’s own pattern numbers…with a “pattern pool” tab to view and edit patterns without having to put them into the arrangement.

I think the strict pattern length is useful. Because, you can easily add fills or breaks in the middle of a song and you don’t need to adjust the patterns after this.
