Yeah, vsti automatization is very clunky in renoise. We have already this tool: http://www.renoise.com/tools/getpluginparams
So, it would be great if you just could target some gui parameter, click on right button, select “automatize parameter” and instr. aut device would be created and assigned. If you assign macro, it would do same thing and also assign a macro to instr. aut device. It looks so easy and crucifial that i cant understand why renoise doesnt still have it.

It breaks my workflow if i wanna automatize vst, so i dont do it enough

And if you could save this vst instrument with every setting and even select instruments in browser from other tracks (not only sounds as now) it would be absolutelly amazing.
