I would like to know, how do you create record scratch effects on samples you are working with in Renoise? Also, how do you manipulate a sample to sound like its glitching and all over the place?
Here is a song that has some of the effects starting at the 1:14 time mark that I’m trying to achieve in the songs I’m working on.
I haven’t seen it done and would imagine it to be quite tedious doing natively and flexibly in Renoise. (Perhaps I’m wrong. Is it even possible natively in any DAW?) I’d look deeper into MRhythmizer from Melda production (VST effect): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vAHsxZR6Kc . Maybe there are free options?

I looked up this plugin. It seems like a great tool but unfortunately I don’t have the money to buy it.
They have a weekly rotational discount scheme for all their products (four plugins on every rotation). If you keep your eyes open and have patience you can get it for 50%.
Scratch type sounds can be done in any DAW, it is just a sample going forwards and backwards at different speeds and the volume turned off an on, there was a demo track at one point demonstrating it, not sure if it is built in to Renoise though
