► Renoise 2.7 Beta Announcement

Fantastic update!

Upgrade done, I confirm.
Thanks for the input!

Yay,

Your Renoise license has been upgraded successfully - Account valid until: Renoise 4.0
Didn’t require any crazy wrangling or anythin, just works. Just the way it should.

If you do it again, you get upgrades till 5.0 for the same discount upgrade price. (you get two cheap upgrades ;)

Yes, and if I do it 5 times, I’ll get to 9.0!

Oh fine vV you made me do it.

Your current registered version is : 4.0 Extended Upgrade
which will be valid up to (and including) 5.0

Anybody would think you want the Devs to be able to afford to eat this month or something! :P

Yes, but only this month as it seems.

Well yeah, cost of the Renoise licence, even with the size of the team, I should of probably have said Today to be honest ;)

Oh yes, just wanted to add yet again - THANK YOU FOR THE FASTER DISK BROWSER! =)

I just joined this party and there’s an update already. I’m still learning and trying to transition from ‘traditional’ sequencers, I have never had so many cool sounding accidents with any other audio software.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add the obligatory ‘great going devs’, you really have something awesome going here.

Thanks, really!
I like how Renoise gets better in his own way. A “proper” sampler instrument, the eq with points is great, better automation, multiband send device (great!), etc…
That + the scripting thing introduced in 2.6 with tools like the time stretcher. :yeah:
If in some moment Renoise will bring audio tracks, thats will be killer

Autoseek + slice markers = better than audio tracks IMHO.

Maybe for you. I really like these improvements (autoseek, slice markers). But having/recording the waveform in the sequencer will be very helpful for me and a lot of people.

I might have missed a link somewhere, but is there a list of what the changes are from one Beta to the next? I’ve been moving from Beta 2 to 3 to 4 etc. and just about to go to b6 and am curious to know what the changes are

Cheers

Rob

Theres no summary, but all changes are noted in the following beta release forum topics:
