If they release a 3.0 beta1 within 2-3 weeks, and then adopt the Bitwigs’ concept of “beta testing”, we could actually see Renoise 3.0 final release in a couple of years.
(Yeah, Bitwig Studio has been “beta tested” for over two years, so why couldn’t Renoise?)
But I’m pretty certain we’ll see the 3.0 beta1 within 2-3 weeks from now.

I heard rumours they’re going to change the pattern effect codes in R3. I say that’s about time, because i’m really getting tired of the present ones, they haven’t changed those in ages.

Fact: Mutant Breaks #6’s deadline is Dec 15
Fact: Both 6 and 15 are multiples of 3. 3 goes into 6 twice, and 15 5 times.
Speculation: Renoise 3.0 beta starts Dec 15 and will be released Feb 5. Alternately, on Dec 15 posters in this thread may have their heads filled with the top 8 tracks and beaten with a french baguette.
I just got in contact with the guy that hacked into Valve and leaked Half Life 2. He’s going to leak Renoise 3 if we agree to pay his house heating bills this winter. Anyone interested?
