Renoise Knock-Out Tournament - Round 4 (Final)

In the previous RKOT all the way up to the final there was a time limit on how long you were allowed to work on your submission. Ie. 3 hours to fiddle with the samples provided to make a song. Just to add another dimension to the compo.

Oh, I thought you meant for the whole compo

Ha! Nice idea! It’d make you to really do some time-managing across the compo.

On another (un)related note: Is this the compo that had its own voting site? If so, who made it and can I use it for this one?
Still trying to get a hold of Keith303 about the samples.

Yeah, it did. Chotoro made & hosted the site. I’ll check with him to see if we can use it again! :walkman:/>

Edit: I sent him an email, will let you know what I find out

Yes, the Votematic! I made it back in the day, there shouldn’t be any problem using it again with some reconfiguring. Edit: I’m slow.

Sweet!

No rush yet, still have to connect with Keith303 about the samples.

I can always create some random sample packs, similar to how I used to for the DDRC rounds. Although maybe Keith303 will manage to massage out some nicer packs than randomly generated ones I would do… ;)

Nice! Keith is a bit busy on the private side at the moment, but said he would try to whip out a samplepack. Maybe he can’t do it for the duration of the whole compo and if that is the case I’ll accept your offer. It can be a nice touch to have samplepacks created by different people every once and a while.

All I’m waiting for is the Voteomatic and this compo is ready for take off. I’ll keep ya’ll posted on when, how, and where.

Kewl! :yeah:

The votematic should be in working order now at http://www.chotoro.fi/knockout2013/
Though it doesn’t yet contain anything of course, I’ll be adding the rounds as they start.

count me down for this please!

Ofcourse I want in toooo :w00t:/>

If I have a free day I am in also
:walkman:

As soon as I get home from my skitrip I’ll let ya’ll sign up for this. :)

Until then, study shortcuts, commands, and practice your tracker-skills.
