Renoise not working with Launch Control

Renoise 3.0.1
Followed instructions in manual. Also followed the instructions in the forum link below.

I can’t get the Launch Control to do anything.
I can see Launch Control in the MIDI preferences. I selected that as the only input device ( input device A ).
I select MIDI Map and choose one of the highlighted functions.
Tweak the knob on the LaunchControl and hit MIDI Map again.
…and nothing happens.

I don’t understand what’s going on.

Disregard. I downloaded and installed Duplex. This got me going.

For the record, I’ve successfully used a Launch Control without duplex, for those of you considering.
