Ooh nice pics… tons of hardware and tons of messy other stuff.
But I wonder how i got this idea in my head…
I just keep thinking that someone’s been putting/inserting
other things in that floppydrive than floppy disks.
Haha, yeah, that drive does look a bit dodgy doesn’t it. As a matter of fact it done most of it’s work in a smokey 14ft x 8 ft garden shed for about half it’s life, so factors like condensation and temperatures were a problem. But it is still working (with the occasional green startup error screen, with which I just give it a bang, reset, and it starts (in about 12 seconds)).
Take a look at my sig man-at-arms, all the music there is composed on the amiga, coz I still haven’t finished anything on renoise yet.
To the left there’s one of my Tannoy Reveals, on a special tripod to minimize contact with the floor. And well, the rest you can figure out probably. A computer, my luvly 101, 202, 303 and 707 (great hi-hats) and some effects gear for those external synths that need some verb and digital delay…
I have a Syntecno Teebee and two compressor/limiters. Which makes for a pretty nice studio. I will have to paint the wall one of these days…
it’s just to make the best out of it. i commute between two cities every 3 months and its hard to take my amp, speakers etc with me all the time. so i mainly use my laptop, akg studio headphones and my mind.
probably the chepest of all ReNoise studios, this is where all my song where composed since 1998. Before it was even cheaper
There is 90% of chances that I’m going to move out of this house on may, and I will have a “creativity room” with all my music instruments, but the cheap path will be still followed
Hello fellow Renoisers! I always like to scoop around in studio’s of other people, mainly to get Ideas for my own. So I’d like to contribute with these pics:
Here you can see the computer setup for Recording and sequencing.
the laptop in the back is for live performances only.
A new addition are the 2 Firepod units you can see in the Rack.
I’m only waiting for the driver so I can use them simultaniously.
This is the synthesiser rig.
