Trying to learn the pattern sequencer (http://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/Pattern_Sequencer). The Decouple Playback section describes how to turn off the “Pattern Follow” option. After doing that, I’d like to use the mouse to select which pattern appears in the pattern editor without playing that pattern (I don’t want any pattern to play). All the ways I tried described in the documentation play a pattern. Going over to the pattern matrix (http://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/Pattern_Matrix), I can double-click on one of the little boxes and that puts the pattern in the pattern editor without playing it. Is there a way to do the same thing in the pattern sequencer?
Use the mouse scroll-wheel over the Pattern sequencer. Also an alternative is to hit [CTRL] + [up] (or [DOWN]).
