Renoise 3.1 - “Import Multi-Sample” in the Keyzones preset menu.
(Ah,now I notice thatsimply I can load sfzfiles from browser)
I use Polyphone for converting as well. Quick, easy, and you can do batch conversions of multiple sf2 files into their own folders filled with the sfz files and raw samples. I can vouch for this program (flipping amazing to have soundfonts in Renoise now because of it, and the Renoise Team of course.
This is the best free / grey orchestral library ive ever heard. It would be amazing to have it in renoise.
So many files that convert one by one would be horrible.
Definitely use it to convert that library, it will take under 30 seconds to load up your soundfonts and convert them all once you know how it works, and it works pretty simply lol
Reviving a very (very!) old thread, but if it helps others trying to load SF2 files in Renoise, the website for Polyphone has changed and you can now find it here:
Polyphone will load the SF2 files and you can then export them to SFZ (ie a folder with all the exported samples as individual files, plus a text SFZ configuration file explaining how to load them). You can then load those into Renoise by just dragging the SFZ file into the Instruments list.
(Of course it’d be nicer if Renoise could load SF2 files directly, but this is a good workaround in the meantime.)
