Also it says in the manual that if they are less than a foot from a wall you should plug one of the bass ports and less than a foot from the corner both ports:
Yep, I did this on purpose. They are placed quite close together, so I wanted the tweeters to be spaced as far apart as possible to enhance stereo imaging. I will be placing them under the Equators in the future when I get around to buying some isolation pads. I really don’t use the M1’s anymore though, seeing as the Equators are way WAY better.

Awesome setup…jealous of the corner desk setup, wish I had room for something like that. But doesn’t it bug you having the speakers in your right ear all the time?
corner setup is just a table in the middle of the room, on one side jamspot and sewing factory on another 
since im not living alone im 90% on headphones, speakers are for movies and stuff. when i feel that i need finish a track i just need call to a buddy who have monitors at home 
ESQ1 just showed up today 
How’s the ESQ1? I’ve seen a few going cheap on ebay and thought of adding it to my “Get-later-when-time-and-money-permits-because-college-drains-all-my-money-and-time” list…
I had to sell my ESQ-1 when I moved a while back. I really miss it. HUGE sounding in MONO or POLY modes and diverse as shit.
I’m enjoying it quite a lot so far. Has this interesting sound to it, which can be a bit haunting. Granted, I’ve had it for only a few days and have barely begun to do much other than queue up a few presets and tweak them.
Just for references if you shop around, I got mine through a used music shop that posted their inventory online for $299 and is in pretty good shape. Prices on eBay seem to vary quite a bit.

I am extremely curious, what is that controller or instrument ON the bed? The one next to the white computer keyboard? Is it a MIDi controller? i hope it is, and if it is which one? could i beg for some info? i simply must know!

im sure its no longer in production and i cant say that it is greatest unit i suggest you to look on novation launchcontrol if u want this type of controller

Thanks again (and sorry for going so OT here). I looked at the Launchcontrol, and while it did look neat and what i might be looking for, its missing just a few things (im a sucker for simple numerical displays sometimes). I dont know if it can MIDI learn with Renoise, anybody know?
