I’m currently migrating alot of my back catalog onto Audius.
Made an account shortly after it launched, but neglected it. Logged in recently and had more engagement than I got on SoundCloud and discovered that they launched the Token $AUDIO.
No upload limits, no subscription. (You can even !GASP! replace the source files on tracks you already uploaded without being a “PRO” subscriber. No more losing engagement on WIPs just for being poor or frugal.
I know it’s 10 months old but Tidal for convenience, does offline. But if you actually want to own the music you bought (with Tidal even if its ethical to use a Downloader to get past DRM it is against ToS and potential worst case is termination of services) I’d say Bandcamp because streaming and actually being able to download without reliance on an app is a plus.
I don’t know what any of these other services are but I don’t trust “free” these days ever anymore, due to data mining/privacy/security breaches.
