[solved] Help Needed From Mac Laptop Users Please

Hi folks, I could really do with some help.

I’ve recently made the switch from PC to Mac and am now using a laptop.

I’m used to using the f9-f12 keys to position myself with the patten editor, is this possible on a Mac?

I’ve changed the keyboard settings so that they keys are no longer the mac specific hotkeys but still no joy.

Are there any suggestions? I’m hoping I’m missing something really basic.

go to
–> system prefs (of the mac)–> keyboard and mouse–> keyboard shortcuts (tab)

–>unchek the boxes of:

  • All windows F9
  • application windows F10
  • Desktop F11
  • Dashboard F12
