I don’t need an app to tell me which samples are kicks and snares, that’s what file names are for! The promise of Sononym (to me) is being able to explore sounds based on_character_ which tends to be harder to capture in filenames.

There are some things that interest me about Atlas however:

  • instant drumkits – cool idea, useful, probably easily done with Renoise scripting

  • likes / dislikes – potentially very interesting to find more sounds I’ll like

  • maps / libraries – I’ll be curious to see how this is implemented, I’m a big proponent of creating “sample sets” to give me different views of a sample library

#re Boooommmp. :walkman:

We need just to wait some moredays

@ffx: it’s not exactly virgin territory. Check out SampleRobot for a start? It’s quite a powerful automatic (or semi-automatic) instrument ripper for hardware…

Also, Extreme Sample Converter (windows only) and AutoSampler (mac) - that got bought up by Apple, btw.

Also, I had a pretty good wavetable editor around at some time. Can’t remember what it was called…

Could even tweak my Zerocrossingstool to not only “create”, but also export wavetables, with a bit of effort

Any news?

…seems sum more #legal related stuff with settin up the shop; if my oracle_verse is right, which it usually is.

Any news?

Any #news?.. Chrononym seems a BiT Late!

They started working on another project.

No, seriously. They’re probably doing everything in their power to release this product ASAP.

We just have to practice the virtue of patience a little longer (and we should all be really good at that by now).

Pretty much set - just waiting for the financial authorities so we are allowed to sell something. The waiting time is spent on making video tutorials

What does it mean? Gewerbeschein or something?

Passierschein A38 ^

It seems it takes longer as planned. Why wasn’t Sononym launched as part of the “Renoise”-product family? Then you guys could already sell it

Is there a new deadline? If so, then you should refresh the availability page:https://www.sononym.net/blog/pricing-and-availability/

Maybe you can release atleast some of the tutorials videos jsut to see it in action. I really want to try it out.

Shhhh

The rest of usare practicing the virtue of patience here!

Don’t talk, just be quiet!
