Man-At-Arms …I need a preview of your song for the voting system.
30-40 seconds will be embedded to the voting site as a preview.
There is also a seperate preview page on the tigc-site, so your preview may be longer, however.
Please respond since the deadline is being planned.
edit: Johan, I’d also need a preview from you, please.
Johan, the link is dead. I tried to download a several times.
If it doesn’t work out, send it to me: nt (at) inorganic (dot) de .
Man-At-Arms, where are you, dude?
Bantai, about the demo plugIns: In my opinion it’s still okay.
Normally I´d say also demoplugs would be okay but on the other side I think also about the listeners and fanatic module grabbers (like me ). Let´s assume we have a vst which will refuse to work after some days or a demomessage pops up evry 30 sec. , I don´t believe this is the approach from a user or listener to get such a plug on his system.
But, um… well all in all I´m also not really able to find a solution for that, middle way or something… gosh… I´m thinking to complicated I guess
Maybe it would be good to allow demos anyways and then let´s see how it turns out
I guess it’s ok, but I’ve rendered all the VST’s I’ve used so everything will work without a lot of hassle. Since this contest is a way to contribute with rns-files it seemed like the best way to do it. I just hope my cpu-hoggy song will play on all computers
There is no 30-40 seconds from me yet… I’m busy with the Longtrack at the mo… Sorry. I will finish it in december though. End of the december is the deadline I heard?
Johan, I lurve both your tracks, they rightfully deserve the flag of uber gaylordness:
Strange thing… I downloaded lots of wave files a long time ago and by accident I loaded up this one now and found the sax. I should have clicked on the sample above really
You mean L’Amour Toujours by Gigi D’Agostino? Well the bass is a rip of from him
I was wondering… how is it about your ppls voting criterias? How would you jugde the songs in the compo at all?
Since we have open source mods then after all (with or without vsts) I was thinking why not judge the tracking technique also besides the song (fluffy/cheesiness, arrangement, ect.) itself.
I regret to announce this is the end. I will not be taking part in the TiGC, because of too much other work to do (my study is now priority 1 and I still have to finish the Longtrack project and some other tunes). I bid you all a very fond farewell.
Parsec, I am dumb and forget to ask you for a preview. Why don’t you say anything?
Have you got a preview for us? Can you put it online or send it to nt(at)inorganic.de ?
Kisses.
