How are you approaching Renoise for a live situation? Doesn’t seem easy to assemble finished tracks into one uninterrupted live set at the moment.
Only thing I’ve come up with is using PhraseMate to load phrases stored in instrument to the main editor and trying to assemble tracks live, but maybe some of you have different techniques that might be interesting.

This is a perma-topic.
so, im interested in how one would use Renoise in a live setup. i’ve used FL Studio and Reason 5 in the past and know how those can be used in a live setup, but Renoise seems a bit different to me. im the type of person that likes to actually preform and re-play the songs instead of pressing play and waving my hands around ala skrillex style. if you use Renoise live, how do you do it?

I am starting to line up some live performance gigs after switching to renoise a few months ago, and I am wondering what approaches you veterans out there are using for live performance in (primarily) renoise.
I haven’t experimented with live dive or duplex at all yet, so any and all tips, suggestions, etc. are most welcome!
Thanks in advance
So the possibility of me performing some of my tunes live has landed itself… and I’m now finding myself contemplating how to use Renoise as a live tool. And I’m absolutely lost.
So, I’ve decided to start an amazingly-pinnable (hint hint!) master thread on the art of live performance in Renoise.
Here are some possible discussion topics:
Song/host optimization
Using Renoise as a rendered multi-track playback machine
How to transition between songs effectively
How to accomplish crude beatmatchi…
I’m not new to Renoise (or tracking) but recently I’ve been thinking about playing some of my newer material live. A quick bit of history, I used to do this in local pubs & clubs in the early/mid 90s with an Amiga, Octamed, two synths, and a guitarist. The Amiga would sequence samples and midi data, I would play some parts on the keyboards and would mute/unmute tracks as appropriate and a friend would play guitar.
I currently do everything in Renoise, and don’t have any external gear apart from…
